FIU Panthers’ Richard Leonard gets multiple weekly honors

Redshirt junior cornerback Richard Leonard earned the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week Award and shared the College Football Performance Awards national Defensive Back of the Week Award with Air Force’s Weston Steelhammer.

Leonard returned one interception 25 yards for a touchdown against Alabama-Birmingham on Saturday and another for 46 yards to set up a field goal.
