Trump expected to watch UM vs. Indiana championship game at Hard Rock Stadium
President Donald Trump is expected to be in South Florida to watch the University of Miami play in the national college football championship game Monday night at Hard Rock Stadium, Axios reported.
The Hurricanes will face off against Indiana University, whose quarterback is Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza, a graduate of Christopher Columbus High School in Westchester.
According to Axios, Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio both will be at the game, which takes place at 7:30 p.m. at the Miami Gardens stadium, the home site for UM football and the Dolphins.

While he has not stated who he’ll cheer for, Trump now has official ties to the U.
Trump’s granddaughter, 18-year-old Kai Trump, who is a senior at the Benjamin School, a private school in Palm Beach, has committed to play NCAA Division I golf for the Hurricanes after she graduates in May. Kai, who is Donald Trump Jr.’s daughter with ex-wife Vanessa Trump, is currently recovering from wrist surgery, per her Instagram.
It’s also probably a safe bet that Rubio, who was born in Miami and represented Florida in the U.S. Senate from 2011 until last year, is pulling for Miami.
