Despite a season that could see the end to the nation’s longest bowl streak, the Florida State Seminoles are still in the running to snag one of the nation’s most coveted recruits.

Five-star wide receiver Jadon Haselwood (Ellenwood, Georgia) is planning an official visit to Tallahassee this weekend, 247 Sports reported.

The Seminoles are Haselwood’s third visit since decommitting from Georgia in October. His decommittment from the Bulldogs was the second high-profile recruit to back off his UGA pledge in October.

Five-star running back John Emery Jr. decommitted from UGA only to commit to LSU this week. Emery is the No. 2-rated running back in the 247 Sports’ composite rankings.

Haselwood has also visited Oklahoma and Miami, with a trip to the Hurricanes happening in early October.

The 6-2, 196-pounder from Cedar Grove High School in Georgia is the No. 4-ranked recruit in the country. UM is the leading candidate to secure his pledge, according to the 247 Sports’ crystal ball.
