Miami Hurricanes lose running back to knee injury
The University of Miami will be without reserve running back Trayone Gray when its season starts on Sept. 3 at the newly-minted Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens against FAMU.
According to Miami Herald beat writer Susan Miller Degnan, Gray suffered a knee injury and will miss the 2016 season.

Last season, Gray ran for 145 yards with a pair of touchdowns on 23 carries.
Gray, a much-heralded recruit from Carol City, was listed behind Mark Walton, Joseph Yearby and Gus Edwards on the UM depth chart.
Miami coach Mark Richt also said Tuesday that fresgman receiver Ahmmon Richards has been slowed by turf toe.
