UM’s home finale against Georgia Tech set for 12:30 p.m. kickoff

Mimosas anyone?

Hurricanes fans who were hoping for a night kickoff to celebrate the final home game of the season will have to opt for a breakfast tailgate.

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Monday that the Georgia Tech game will begin at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 21 and will be televised by the ACC Network, meaning that a local network will show the game.

UM’s game last weekend against Virginia had a 3 p.m. kickoff, and the Clemson game Oct. 24 began at noon.

Saturday’s game at North Carolina kicks off at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised by ESPNU.

▪ The Hurricanes announced Monday that their 83 percent NCAA Graduation Success Rate ranks as 23rd-best in the Football Bowl Subdivision.

▪ Miami tweeted Monday that it gave defensive game balls from the win against Virginia to linebackers Trent Harris and Jermaine Grace and defensive end Ufomba Kamalu. Offensive game balls were given to receiver Stacy Coley and tailbacks Joe Yearby and Mark Walton. The special-team game ball went to kickoff specialist Jon Semerene.
