At around 2:45 a.m., Tykwon Anderson, 20, and three others arrived at Beck’s home at the 6200 block of SW 86th Street in a 2019 Mercedes Benz, according to his arrest affidavit.

Two of the men jumped over the home’s concrete fence while Beck and his girlfriend — UM women’s basketball team guard Hanna Cavinder, 24 — slept. The men entered the driveway where two cars were parked.

Beck, 22, played the last two seasons as starting quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs. He transferred to the Miami Hurricanes last month and reportedly received about $4 million in a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal.

Deputies say one of the men broke into Cavinder’s white Range Rover and got hold of a garage opener. The alleged thieves were able to enter the 6-bedroom, 6-bathroom home listed at $5 million dollars and take the car keys from the living room.

Anderson stole Beck’s red Lamborghini, while the other men took off in his 2023 Mercedes Benz and the Range Rover, deputies say.

Around 7 a.m. Miami-Dade deputies got the call from Beck to report the theft. Cavinder’s Range Rover was found abandoned near Southwest 86th Street, deputies say.

Deputies say the 2019 Mercedes Benz the alleged thieves rode in on was a rental registered to Anderson. The car’s tracking device placed it at Beck’s home at the time of the theft.

By around 1:45 p.m. deputies found Beck’s stolen Mercedes Benz at 7901 SW 64th Avenue.

Later at around 5:20 a.m., police arrested Anderson in his rented car at his Miami Gardens home.

Deputies say that Anderson “provided a full confession and explained in detail how the burglary occurred,” according to his arrest affidavit.

Anderson is charged with first and second-degree grand theft vehicle and masked burglary. He is jailed at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and has a bond status of “to be set,” as of Friday morning.

Deputies say they are still trying to find the other men involved.
