Miami hosting commits (including IMG stars) at Hard Rock Stadium for matchup vs. Duke

Bradenton IMG Academy has another bye week, which means another chance for some of its future Miami Hurricanes to make the trip to Miami Gardens this weekend.

Jayden Wayne, Riley Williams and Antonio Tripp will all travel across the state this weekend to watch the Hurricanes host the Duke Blue Devils at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday.

It’s the second straight Miami home game this trio from IMG Academy will attend.

The biggest names on the expected visitors list for the Hurricanes this week are the committed prospects, according to these IMG stars. Miami will also have most of the local, usual suspects back in attendance to watch coach Mario Cristobal’s seventh game back at his alma mater.

Although it’s a slight list of visitors this week, the list still includes multiple top-100 recruits, according to the 247Sports composite rankings, and top-five player in Miami-Dade County.

Miami expected visitors for UNC

  • Jayden Wayne, 4-star EDGE, Bradenton IMG Academy (Miami commit)
  • Riley Williams, 4-star TE, Bradenton IMG Academy (Miami commit)
  • Nathaniel Joseph, 4-star WR, Edison (Miami commit)
  • Antonio Tripp, 3-star IOL, Bradenton IMG Academy (Miami commit)

The most notable name missing from this list is five-star tackle Francis Mauigoa, but 247 reported his absence isn’t any indication of his commitment status. The American Samoan offensive lineman has been rock solid in his commitment to the Hurricanes since announcing his pledge in July and was in attendance for Miami’s loss to the North Carolina Tar Heels on Oct. 8.

The Hurricanes’ next home game should be a big one from a recruiting standpoint. After closing out October with a road game against the Virginia Cavaliers on Oct. 29, Miami returns to South Florida to host the rival Florida State Seminoles in November and Damari Brown, a four-star cornerback from Plantation American Heritage, is scheduled to take his official visit.
