Miami Hurricanes football bringing back CanesFest for fans after two year absence

It’s back.

After a two-year absence because of the COVID-19 pandemic, CanesFest is returning to the University of Miami campus.

The Miami Hurricanes announced online Tuesday that the popular UM football fanfest, which over the years added other Hurricanes sports to the celebration, will take place from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Carol Soffer Indoor Practice Facility.

UM says the event will include an autograph session with football players, a fan zone with “family-friendly activities,’’ appearances by former players, opportunities to purchase season tickets, food trucks “and more.’’

Parking and other details will be released in the days leading to the event.
