Miami Hurricanes move spring game to Fort Lauderdale. Dates and what you need to know

Signs of the 2022 college football season are coming even more into focus.

The University of Miami on Monday released its spring football schedule.

The 15 days of Hurricanes spring practice begin on Monday, March 7 and conclude with the spring game on April 16. The dates: March 7, 9 11, 22, 24, 26, 29, 31; April 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14 and the noon spring-game finale.

Practice sessions are expected to be closed to the public.

The Miami Herald has confirmed through multiple sources that the spring game, open to the public, will be at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale — where Inter Miami plays and the same location as the former Lockhart Stadium.

The spring game falls between the Miami Open tennis tournament (March 21-April 3) and the new Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix (May 6-8), which are both being held at Hard Rock Stadium. A stadium source said the reason the spring game is being moved is because the Miami Open main stadium is being dismantled during that period.

The ACC Network will televise the spring game.
