N’Kosi Perry discusses Miami’s loss to Georgia Tech
If Saturday wasn’t a turning point for N’Kosi Perry, it was maybe the start of one — at least this is what Mark Richt said Tuesday at his weekly news conference in Coral Gables. So why are the Miami Hurricanes reportedly ramping up their courtship of Kelly Bryant?
The latest edition of the Eye on the U podcast tackles all things quarterbacks as Miami (5-5, 2-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) gets ready for its final two games of the regular season, beginning Saturday against the Virginia Tech Hokies in Blacksburg, Va. Perry will try to prove to coaches he’s the man to lead the Hurricanes into the future. Jarren Williams hopes he might get a crack at some meaningful snaps in the final weeks. And Bryant, who is transferring from the Clemson Tigers, will make his way to Miami Gardens on Nov. 24 when the Hurricanes close out the regular season with the Pittsburgh Panthers.
Meanwhile, Miami still isn’t bowl eligible after a 27-21 loss to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Saturday in Atlanta, which complicates the Hurricanes’ ability to evaluate their future. David Wilson and Miami beat writer Susan Miller Degnan discuss it all on the Miami Herald’s weekly Hurricanes podcast. There are only two games left, but the Eye on the U will take fans all the way to the finish line and beyond as Miami chases an elusive sixth win and a sixth straight postseason appearance.
