Sept. 5: Texas State, 8 p.m (ESPNEWS)

The only interesting thing about this game should be who starts at quarterback for FSU.

Sept. 12: South Florida, 11:30 a.m. (ESPN)

Last time USF came to Tallahassee, they upset the Seminoles 17-7. The loss ignited the movement that pushed Bobby Bowden out the door.

Sept. 18: @ Boston College, 8 p.m. (ESPN)

The Friday night matchup has trap game written all over it. The Eagles gave Jameis Winston and FSU fits last season.

Oct. 3: @ Wake Forest, TBD

FSU has routed the Demon Deacons the past three years by a combined score of 154-6.

Oct. 10: Miami, TBD

FSU hits the meat of its schedule looking to continue their five-game winning streak against the Canes.

Oct. 17: Louisville, TBD

Florida State was able to rally from a 21-point first-half deficit last season, so the Cardinals will be out for some revenge.

Oct. 24: @ Georgia Tech, TBD

Yellow Jackets quarterback Justin Thomas returns to run their wing-T offense that could cause problems for the Seminoles’ depleted linebacking corps.

Oct. 31: Syracuse, 7:30 p.m. (ESPN)

The game might be on Halloween, but the Orange won’t give FSU a scare. Syracuse won just one game in the ACC and finished 3-9 last season.

Nov. 7: @ Clemson, TBD

For the Seminoles to win their fourth in a row against Clemson, they must contain Heisman candidate Deshaun Watson, one of the most electric players in the country.

Nov. 14: North Carolina State, TBD

NC State has been known to ruin the Noles’ seasons in the past. Ex-Gator QB Jacoby Brissett could do the same this year.

Nov. 21: Chattanooga, TBD

Stat night. FSU has their final tune-up game before their showdown with Florida on Thanksgiving weekend.

Nov. 28: @ Florida, TBD

This might be the game that saves the season for the Gators and new head coach Jim McElwain.
