FSU’s Tre’ Jackson, Terrance Smith get ACC honors

Senior right guard Tre’ Jackson earned ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors for the third time in four weeks Monday, and redshirt junior linebacker Terrance Smith was tabbed ACC Linebacker of the Week for the first time in his career.

The pair led the Seminoles to a come-from-behind 31-27 victory over No. 5 Notre Dame on Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Jackson recorded four pancake blocks and had the highest grade on the Seminoles offensive line against the Irish. Jackson helped FSU pile up 212 yards of total offense in an efficient second half.

Smith had a game-high 11 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble and one pass breakup against Notre Dame.
