Jon Rahm Accused Of 'Classless' Behavior During The U.S. Open

Jon Rahm had a tough time at the 2026 U.S. Open.

The Spanish golfer entered the third major tournament of the year ranked among the favorites. And Rahm had a big first round, getting into contention. However, things went poorly after that.

Rahm was cut from the tournament, finishing at +6 over two rounds. He did not play well - or compose himself very well - during the second round of the event.

He was not happy with himself, as he was heard dropping F-bombs and tossing his driver around the course.

Rahm has been called out for his "classless" behavior on the course, with fans taking serious issue with him.

"With these LIV players getting out of control and kicking Club throwing clubs the better idea is not let them play in majors. Major golf tournaments are for gentlemen not for crybabies and LIV is got more crybabies and gentlemen," one fan wrote.

"Just classless behavior," one fan added.

Golf announcer calls out Rahm, too

Golf Channel expert Brandel Chamblee is not happy with Rahm or other players behaving poorly.

"I never saw Jack Nicklaus throw a club," the golf analyst said during a discussion on Golf Channel. "I never heard him yell an f-bomb. Never heard him yell a profane word on the golf course. When he hit a bad shot, you'd hear him go, ‘Aw, Jack.'

"Never saw Palmer throw a club. Never heard him yell an f-bomb. Same with Tom Watson. Pick your player. Never saw Greg Norman. All those bad losses that Greg Norman had. Never saw him throw a club. Never heard an f-bomb from him. Say what you want about Phil Mickelson. I never saw Phil Mickelson throw a club. Or yell an f-bomb."

He's not wrong about that.

Players need to handle their emotions in better form.
