Video of Fever Veteran Bleeding During Tempo Game Draws Attention
A video of Indiana Fever veteran Myisha Hines-Allen bleeding during Tuesday's game against the Toronto Tempo has drawn significant attention. A physical blow from Tempo forward Isabelle Harrison left Hines-Allen with a bloody face in the first quarter.
Harrison's hand struck the veteran forward in the nose during a driving layup attempt. The impact caused Hines-Allen to bleed on the court before exiting to the locker room.
As she underwent a medical examination, Indiana listed her as questionable to return. This status forced Hines-Allen to miss the rest of the first half. Referees did not call a foul because the play appeared accidental.
A video of the incident surfaced on X and drew reactions from concerned fans.

"Really hate to see this...," a fan commented.
"Omg not our MHA! Hope shes okay," another posted.
"Def not a deliberate hit should of been a foul but refs are blind," a user said.
"It was a basketball play. She ran her face into Izzy's hand," another wrote.
"...and no foul called. Apparently her nose got in the way of the defender's fist . WNBA refs suck," a commenter said.
"Better start wearing helmets," another added.
Hines-Allen returned to the floor in the third quarter. She did not score but grabbed two defensive rebounds and had two assists. Her effort helped Indiana win 113-91 at home.
Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever in scoring with 27 points, followed by Sophie Cunningham with 24. Caitlin Clark scored 21, while Aliyah Boston added 18.
After the game, Harrison and Hines-Allen talked about the incident. The two exchanged smiles and shared a brief hug, signaling no lingering tension. However, the missed whistle on the play reopened the debate over officiating consistency in the WNBA.
The victory marked the Fever's fourth straight win and moved the team to a 9-5 record. Indiana will try to extend its winning streak on Thursday when it faces the Atlanta Dream at State Farm Arena.
