Joe Burrow Makes Encouraging Declaration About This Year's Bengals Team
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow missed a significant portion of the 2025 season as he recovered from a Grade 3 turf toe injury.
With Burrow only able to play in eight games, the Bengals notched a 6-11 record - missing the playoffs for the third consecutive season.
Burrow feels this year’s Cincinnati team is different. During a press conference at mandatory minicamp on Wednesday, the 29-year-old signal caller said this team reminds him of his 2019 LSU Tigers squad that went undefeated en route to a national championship victory.
“I want everybody talking about the Bengals,” Burrow told reporters. “2019 season at LSU, I feel very similarly about this team. I’m so excited to get started and get moving. I wish we would ramp this straight into training camp so we can continue to improve. … There’s so much greatness that we’re going to be able to achieve this year. I’m just excited to get going.”
