Kylian Mbappe has two goals and the French are going to be rewarded with three points in the opening victory.
More than 80,000 fans have packed the home of the New York Giants and New York Jets on Tuesday afternoon. The crowd is mostly full of French supporters, which comes as no surprise. France has one of the biggest followings of any team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

FOX's cameras made sure to pan to the pair of French fans in the crowd several times on Tuesday afternoon.
They were overjoyed after both of Mbappe's goals at Metlife Stadium
France's fans had quite a time in North Jersey on Tuesday afternoon, celebrating their country's three-goal opener against Senegal.
The French are one of the favorites to win the whole thing.
France will return to play in the 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup on Monday, June 22 against Iraq. The French will be heavy favorites in that one.
Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. E.T.
The game will air on FOX.
