Azzi Fudd Trolls Paige Bueckers' Appearance Before Wings Game
Dallas Wings rookie guard Azzi Fudd playfully teased star guard Paige Bueckers before Friday's game. The interaction appeared in a video that the WNBA posted on X before Dallas faced the Los Angeles Sparks.
Bueckers arrived at Crypto.com Arena wearing a multicolored top, black cargo pants and black boots. The clip showed the 6-foot guard making multiple attempts to film a good pregame fit video while walking through the tunnel. However, each attempt ended in laughter.
Before the third and final take, Fudd couldn't resist trolling Bueckers after the Dallas star accidentally revealed her armpit.
"Eww your armpit," the 5-foot-11 guard shouted, which immediately broke Bueckers' composure and caused her to laugh.

This lighthearted exchange highlights a bond that spans nearly a decade. The pair first met at a USA Basketball camp in 2017 and quickly became friends. Their first stint as teammates also came that year with the USA Basketball U16 National Team in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The duo later played four seasons together at UConn. They won their first and only NCAA national championship together in April 2025, when the Huskies defeated the South Carolina Gamecocks, 82-59.
Following their success in college, their basketball journeys continued into the professional league. Dallas selected Bueckers first overall in 2025, and she was named WNBA Rookie of the Year that season. The franchise then drafted Fudd with the No. 1 overall pick in 2026, reuniting the former UConn teammates.
The pair confirmed they were dating in July 2025 as their bond grew deeper beyond basketball. Both players have maintained that their focus remains entirely on delivering wins for Dallas.
Their seamless chemistry proved effective as the Wings secured a 104-96 victory over the Sparks on Friday. In this Commissioner's Cup game, Bueckers recorded 18 points and a career-high 14 assists, while Fudd added 11 points. With the win, the tandem helped propel Dallas to a 7-3 record this season.
