Fan Runs On Court During Game 1 Of Knicks vs. Spurs NBA Finals

It's fair to assume that a fan of the San Antonio Spurs got himself banned from the rest of the NBA Finals this Wednesday.

With 6:34 remaining in the fourth quarter, a fan ran onto the court and tried to take a selfie with Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama. The security crew at Frost Bank Center immediately got a hold of the unruly fan and ushered him off the hardwood.

The officials had no choice but to stop San Antonio's possession. Luckily for both teams, this didn't end up being a controversial moment.

Of course, NBA fans had a lot to say about this ridiculous moment in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

"Put that loser in jail," one fan declared.

"Wemby really out here turning games into meet & greet events," a second fan commented.

"Paid all that money to get kicked out idiot," another fan wrote.

Will the NBA discipline this fan?

The NBA prohibits fans from running onto the court, labeling it a safety and legal violation. Obviously, that didn't stop this spectator from making a fool out of himself.

We have no doubt this particular Spurs fan has attended his last game of the season. A suspension or maybe even lifetime ban could be announced in the coming days.

Suffice to say, it's not worth risking a ban just for one second of fame.
