Air Jordan 14 Low ‘Valentine's Day': Release Date, Ferrari Details & Women's Exclusive Launch

Jordan Brand has done it again, and once again I'm taking it personally. The Air Jordan 14 Low "Valentine's Day" (Style Code: IX5170-600) is both a source of intrigue and insult for me, and before you judge me, let me share some insight.

When images of the low-cut "Valentine's Day" 14 hit social media, I was ready to send SNKRS a down payment to reserve my pair. That was until I found out they were a women's release. Sneaker Files reports that the 2027 Day of Love release is a women's exclusive. Let's get into it.

What The Air Jordan 14 Low "Valentine's Day" Matters

Nike and Jordan Brand have a penchant for celebrating the most romantic day of the year with themed sneakers, and this year's Air Jordan 14 Low "Valentine's Day" might be their best effort yet. Based on the zSneakerHeadz mockups we've seen so far, the Air Jordan 14 Low "Valentine's Day" drops the top on a Tinker Hatfield classic, giving the Ferrari-inspired silhouette an even sportier look.

The Last Shot sneaker, originally designed for speed and stability, has officially gone full date night. Shaggy suede uppers add textured personality, while the all-red color scheme makes sure this women's-exclusive release won't be mistaken for anything else in your rotation.

Last year's Air Jordan 4 "Sierra Red" turned heads, but the boldness of the Air Jordan 14 Low "Valentine's Day" feels different. These take the energy of the legendary Air Jordan 14 "Ferrari" and shift it from the hardwood to matters of the heart, with the low-cut build making the look even more wearable.

Release Date and Where to Buy the Air Jordan 14 Low "Valentine's Day"

According to Women's Wear Daily, the Air Jordan 14 Low "Valentine's Day" (Style Code: IX5170-600) is currently scheduled to release on February 6, 2027, ahead of the holiday. The women's-exclusive retro is expected to launch via Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers.

A release date more than a week before Valentine's Day gives shoppers just enough time to secure a pair before February 14. In my experience, Nike almost always beats its estimated delivery window, meaning these should arrive in time whether you're buying them as a gift or planning to wear them yourself on date night.

Will the AJ14 "Valentine's Day" Be Hard to Get?

As much as I like these Gym Red retros, one thing we've seen over the last few years is that many women's-exclusive Jordan releases remain readily available online and in stores well after launch. Kicks like the AJ4 "Cozy Girl," the Air Jordan 11 "Igloo," and the Air Jordan 10 "Hydrangeas" are all dope colorways, yet each can still be found at or below retail.

And I'm not just talking about the resale market. Some pairs have ended up discounted at Nike outlets and major retailers. At the time of writing, Hibbett is even offering the "Hydrangeas" 10s for 20% off retail.

Based on that recent history, the Air Jordan 14 Low "Valentine's Day" should follow a similar path and be one of the easier Jordan releases to cop in 2027.

Should You Buy These Sneakers on Release Day?

If you're picking up the Air Jordan 14 Low "Valentine's Day" (Style Code: IX5170-600) as a gift, it makes sense to grab them on February 6. Valentine's Day is only eight days later, and nobody wants a late gift that feels like an afterthought.

If you're buying them strictly to wear, however, patience could pay off. Women's-exclusive Jordan releases have developed a habit of falling below retail, which means you may be able to save a few dollars if you can exercise some self-control.

That being said, if these came in my size-men's 14 (women's 15.5)-I'd be trying to check out the minute they went live.
