Rams Players Are Reacting To Team's Trade For Myles Garrett
The Los Angeles Rams appear to be excited about the team's blockbuster trade for All-Pro pass rusher Myles Garrett.
The Browns are sending their Defensive Player of the Year to Los Angeles, in exchange for Pro Bowl edge Jared Verse and some NFL Draft compensation.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter broke the news. Here are the full details, according to the prominent NFL insider:
Browns getting: Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick and a 2029 third-round pick.
Rams getting: Myles Garrett
The Rams, who are once again going all-in, are Super Bowl or bust heading into the 2026 regular season.
Los Angeles players appear to be excited, too.
Multiple Rams players have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to weigh in on the team's move on Monday.
Rams players react to blockbuster trade
Multiple Rams players have taken to social media to weigh in on the team's trade for Myles Garrett.
They are excited.
Quentin Lake wrote: "Jared, my locker mate, is one of the most amazing human beings and teammates I have ever been around . Sucks that some things are out of players control but love and support is what he needs in this moment. Love my guy to death and can't wait to see him tear up the league."
Jaylen Watson, a cornerback, shared: "Oh myyyyy🤯."
Meanwhile, the Browns appear to be excited about the idea of their rebuild getting to a new spot.
"I believe the Browns internally think they're one more offseason from completing this build. The defining factor here was effectively netting three first round picks of value for Garrett. Verse is still an ascending young star that carries the value of two firsts. The icing was the Browns being able to add another 1st in 2027 - to add to their own - giving them ammunition and flexibility should the current QB room not yield a long term starter," Charles Robinson shared.
The trade is expected to be made official later this afternoon.
