Bubba Wallace Gets Brutally Honest After DNF at Nashville
Tonight was another disappointing result for Bubba Wallace in the NASCARCup Series. He was involved in an incident that started with Carson Hocevar and Chris Buescher trading paint. Then, the 23 car was spinning out and colliding with the 48 of Alex Bowman.
These wrecks happen so quickly at Nashville Superspeedway. Bubba Wallace had put together a solid race. He picked up stage points in the first stage, set up his strategy in the second stage and was trying to execute it in the final stage. Then, the wreck.

After leaving the infield care center, Wallace was openly dejected. He talked about the wreck and how he sees the next few days going.
"Just minding our own business yet again," Wallace explained. "Another week that our team doesn't get the finish that we deserve. I'm tired, man. It's hard to be in the same boat constantly every week and you gotta figure out how to put it behind you and show up.
"I somehow become the bad guy days following this. So, I gotta figure out how to be better and learn from it. It's really freaking hard when you're driving your best and just trying to make progress throughout the race and you get wiped out. So, onto Michigan."
As it stands, Bubba Wallace will finish P32. That will be his fourth finish of P22 or worse in the last five races. Wallace is now on the bubble for the Chase as the regular season enteres the second half of the schedule.
