Switzerland vs Jordan Lineups, Score, Predictions, Live Streams, How and Where to Watch on TV

Switzerland continues their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup when they take on Jordan in an international friendly at Kybunpark in St. Gallen on May 31.

Both teams are using the match as part of their final build-up before heading to North America for the tournament.

For Switzerland, this summer's World Cup will be their sixth consecutive appearance at the tournament, underlining the consistency they have shown on the international stage over the last two decades.

Much of Switzerland's hopes will again rest on captain and midfield leader Granit Xhaka. The experienced midfielder remains the heart of Murat Yakin's side, while players such as Manuel Akanji, Breel Embolo, Dan Ndoye and Noah Okafor add quality across the pitch.

Switzerland have been drawn into Group B of the 2026 FIFA World Cup alongside co-hosts Canada, Qatar and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Jordan, meanwhile, are preparing for a historic moment. The Middle Eastern nation will make its FIFA World Cup debut after securing qualification for the first time in its history.

Led by head coach Jamal Sellami, Jordan have become one of Asia's most improved teams in recent years following their impressive run to the AFC Asian Cup final.

Jordan have been placed in Group J at the 2026 World Cup alongside defending champions Argentina, Algeria and Austria. It will be a difficult challenge, but simply reaching the tournament marks a major achievement for Jordanian football.
