Dale Earnhardt Jr. Teases Cleetus McFarland on Pit Road After Nashville NASCAR Race

If you were one of the many thousands of people who were watching Cleetus McFarland's in-car camera on YouTube, I hope you stuck around for the whole stream. NASCAR kept the camera and audio rolling as Cleetus parked on pit road and Dale Earnhardt Jr. came over to speak with the YouTuber turned racer.

Cleetus McFarland was back in the No. 33 car for Richard Childress Racing this weekend at Nashville Superspeedway. He finished P35, six laps down. But there was some improvement. Then again, Cleetus found himself spinning out of Turn 4 on the last lap of Stage 1, too.

While Dale Earnhardt Jr. gave some words of encouragement while he leaned into the window of the 33 car after the race, he also teased Cleetus a bit. You can hear it at the 2:04:40 mark of the live stream video.

"Are you dizzy from spinning around so much?" Dale Jr. asked Cleetus.

"Come on, man!" McFarland responded before the two went into a conversation about the race, the spin in Stage 1, and more.

A few words of encouragement and a shared laugh with Dale Jr. after that race has to make P35 feel like more of an accomplishment. Earnhardt has been in Cleetus McFarland's corner throughout his flirtation with NASCAR. It doesn't appear that support is going to stop any time soon.
