Analysis:

Had it not been for Jayden Daniels' injury woes, the Commanders likely could've threatened the Philadelphia Eagles for the division title last season.

Daniels dealt with a knee sprain, a hamstring strain, an elbow dislocation, and an elbow sprain that took him out for 10 games and derailed Washington's playoffs aspirations.

But with Daniels fully healthy, the Commanders should get back to their winning ways next season. They added some more weapons for the third-year QB including running back Rachaad White, wide receiver Dyami Brown, tight end Chig Okonkwo, and third-round receiver Antonio Williams to complement Daniels and Pro Bowl WR Terry McLaurin.

Washington also revamped its defense in adding first-round linebacker Sonny Styles, edge-rushers Odafe Oweh and K'Lavon Chaisson, linebacker Leo Chanal, and cornerback Amik Robertson.

When Daniels last played a full season, he led the Commanders to a 12-5 record and an appearance in the NFC Championship Game while winning Offensive Rookie of the Year.

If he regains his 2024 form, expect Washington to get back to at least double-digit wins and it could threaten Philadelphia for the division title in 2026.
