Knicks Superfans Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee Land In Cleveland For Game 4

Timothée Chalamet might need to sign on for endless “Dune” films to pay off New York Knicks playoff ticket debt.

Chalamet, as famed for his Knicks fandom as for his four-time Oscar-nominated acting career, has been courtside for most of the Knicks’ historic 10-game winning streak, dating back to April 25. They’ve boasted a +22.5 points per game differential throughout this winning streak, which is the best point differential for any team in a 10-game span, regular season or playoffs, in NBA history, per FS1’s “First Things First.”

The Knicks currently hold a 3-0 series lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals, with the opportunity to put the Cavaliers out of their misery on Monday night.

Chalamet and Spike Lee, his de facto Knicks fan godfather, have arrived in Cleveland and will presumably be stationed courtside at Rocket Arena for Game 4.

Should the Knicks win Game 4 and complete their sweep of the Cavaliers, they will secure their first NBA Finals appearance since 1999. Chalamet was born in 1995, for reference.

In the 1999 NBA Finals, the Tim Duncan and David Robinson-led San Antonio Spurs defeated the Knicks (who lost Patrick Ewing due to injury) in five games. Rick Brunson, father of Knicks superstar point guard Jalen Brunson, was on that team. Assuming the Knicks take care of the Cavaliers, they will face either the reigning champion Oklahoma City Thunder or the Spurs in the 2026 NBA Finals.

The Knicks have not won the NBA title since 1973. Spike Lee was 16.
