Daniel Suárez Bursts Into Tears After Winning Coca-Cola 600, Dedicates Victory to Kyle Busch
Daniel Suárez is a Coca-Cola 600 winner. The driver from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico is a Crown Jewel winner and a first time winner with Spire Motorsports. NASCAR brought the field to pit road with less than 30 laps to go as rain and lightning played tricks on officials. Finally, Suárez was named the winner.
The second caution and red flag for rain was the nail in the coffin. NASCAR lost the track and Charlotte Motor Speedway takes about two hours to completely dry. With time already pushing up to midnight, officials called the race.
As soon as the race was called and Daniel Suárez had a second to process it, the tears began to flow as he cried and celebrated with his team. A former driver for Kyle Busch Motorsports, and a driver whom Busch mentored into the Cup Series, is a fitting winner for the Coca-Cola 600 this week of all weeks.

His comments to Marty Snider after the race was called were just as emotional. Suárez talked about Busch's impact on his career and dedicated the win to Rowdy.
