Final Injury Report for Aces-Sun: Will Brittney Griner, Aaliyah Edwards Play?
The Connecticut Sun are at home on Wednesday night as they host the Las Vegas Aces in an interconference matchup.
Connecticut enters Wednesday's game with a 0-2 record after losing at home to the Seattle Storm on Sunday afternoon.
In Sunday's loss to the Storm, Aneesah Morrow led the way for the Sun as she recorded 17 points and 16 rebounds off the bench while Brittney Griner added 16 points and six rebounds of her own.
Now Connecticut will try to bounce back and grab their first victory of the season on Wednesday as they face off against the Aces in a tough home matchup.
On the other side, Las Vegas enter Wednesday's contest with a 1-1 record after defeating the Los Angeles Sparks on the road in dominant fashion on Sunday night.
Jackie Young led the way for the Aces in Sunday's victory as she ended the game with 20 points, five rebounds and nine assists while Chennedy Carter scored 22 points off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night's matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.
Aces Injury Report: Will Dana Evans Play?
For the Aces, they have two players listed on their injury report for Wednesday, including guard Dana Evans.
Las Vegas has ruled out Evans due to a left leg injury as she will miss her third straight game to begin the season and there is no timetable for her return.
The Aces have also ruled out Janiah Barker due to a concussion that she suffered in the preseason as she will also miss her third consecutive contest.
Sun Injury Report: Will Aaliyah Edwards, Brittney Griner Play?
On the other side, the Sun have four players listed on their injury report, including both Griner and Aaliyah Edwards.
Connecticut has ruled out Griner due to a left foot sprain as she will miss her first game of the season.

The Sun have ruled out Edwards due to a left thigh injury as she will miss her third consecutive contest to begin the season.
Shey Peddy has also been ruled out as she will miss her third straight game with a lower left leg injury.
Laila Lacan and Nell Angloma have also been ruled out as they both remain away from the team due to overseas obligations.
