MLB Home Run Predictions Today: HR Prop Bets for Thursday, April 30

Power bats are lining up in strong spots, with Yordan Alvarez drawing a matchup he's dominated, Shea Langeliers swinging a hot bat against a struggling arm, and Matt Olson bringing upside against another favorable pitching matchup. If you're hunting homers, this group has serious pop.

It's "Thursday Tater Time," and the setup is loaded for a power surge. The matchups are juicy, the splits line up, and the bats are hot. If you're looking to cash a home run ticket, this is the trio to target.

Best Home Run Props Today

Yordan Alvarez Home Run Bet (+354)

Wednesday's game was postponed, but the matchup lines up just as nicely Thursday for Alvarez against Chris Bassitt. Alvarez has crushed him over the years, going 9-for-22 (.409) with five home runs. He's also hitting .329 vs. right-handers this season, with six of his 11 HRs in those spots. Bassitt continues to struggle with lefties, who are batting .377 with a 1.100 OPS, and every HR he's allowed has come from that side.

Shea Langeliers Home Run Bet(+256)

Noah Cameron has struggled early, posting a 5.13 ERA with five home runs allowed and getting hit by both sides. Righties are batting .282, and that jumps to .302 on the road. That's a tough setup against Shea Langeliers, who's off to a hot start, hitting .316 with eight home runs. He's been especially strong vs. lefties, batting .344 with a .656 slugging percentage and three home runs. Langeliers also has a hit in limited history against Cameron.

Matt Olson Home Run Bet (+492)

Power could be on display Thursday when the Atlanta Braves face Framber Valdez, who has allowed home runs in back-to-back starts. Olson stands out in this matchup, going 5-for-19 with two home runs and a .943 OPS against Valdez. He's been locked in at the plate, already hitting nine home runs through 31 games and going deep twice in the past week. With multiple 105-plus-mph blasts in April, Olson's power surge looks real and dangerous here.
