Anthony Edwards AE 3 Leaked: First Look at Adidas' Next Basketball Sneaker
Adidas has been making real noise in the basketball sneaker world lately, whether it's signing new talent or dropping strong performance models. Anthony Edwards has been leading that charge with the AE 1s and AE 2s becoming instant hits, and I honestly don't see the AE 3 slowing that momentum down at all.
We've also seen Pelicans rookie Jeremiah Fears rotate through multiple Adidas pairs this year, while stars like Donovan Mitchell, James Harden, Damian Lillard, and Edwards continue pushing the brand forward. If this pace keeps up, Adidas could become one of the most worn brands on court over the next few seasons.
For a performance review on the latest AE 2 model, I have linked WearTesters on-court review of the shoe.
Anthony Edwards Leaks New AE 3s
Ant-Man recently took to social media and gave fans an early look at the AE 3s, and first impressions are strong.

At first glance, the AE 3 keeps the futuristic energy of the first two models while cleaning up parts of the design. The upper looks lighter and less bulky than the AE 2, which could be a major win for hoopers who like speed and mobility. I also noticed hints of the AE 1 shape still built into the shoe, which helps keep the identity of the line consistent.
What to Expect from the AE 3s
Adidas and Anthony Edwards have handled previous launches well, so I'd expect a full rollout once more colorways begin surfacing online. That usually means teaser campaigns, athlete wear tests, and early retailer leaks.
My guess is a late July or early August release window, right in time for summer runs and back-to-school basketball season. If the comfort and traction match the AE 1 and AE 2, Adidas may be looking at another hit.
Will Ant 3-peat with sneakers? Let me know how you feel about the newest model in the comments.
