Browns Top Pick Spencer Fano Celebrates Draft Night With a Backflip Into the Pool
Spencer Fano was taken ninth overall by the Cleveland Browns in the 2026 NFL Draft, and the 6-foot-6 offensive tackle may have already become one of the team's most popular players thanks to his animated draft night celebration.
With several family members very much included, after shouting "Cleveland!" a fully clothed Fano could be seen doing a backflip into a pool, with several family members following suit and a sea of onlookers enjoying the show.
Considering the 2025 Outland Trophy winner's noted size and that fact he's 300-plus pounds, the backflip was sincerely impressive, displaying the type of athleticism and form that any NFL general manager or head coach would love to see out of one of their offensive linemen.
How Spencer Fano and His Family Turned Draft Night Into an Unforgettable Pool Party
Just look at this form that Fano put on display for the packed party.
With very little splash at the end, any given diving judge would have little choice but to throw up a well-deserved "10."

Even before clicking the video, the freeze-frame alone does a great job in capturing the enjoyable, impromptu moment from Fano.
While only three other splashes were captured in the brief clip, there appears to be about seven to 10 people in the pool by the end, all seemingly having the time of their lives.
And it's probably a safe bet several others joined in on the pool party shortly thereafter, just based on the laughter and general enthusiasm heard throughout.
As the ninth overall pick in the NFL Draft, expectations are obviously going to be high for the 21-year-old Fano, but it looks like Cleveland's locker room will also be welcoming in a pretty fun presence too.
That seems like the type of juice that a frequently struggling franchise like the Browns could probably use, along with his unmistakable talent and clear love of the game.

Fano also comes across as a loyal individual, as the Utah native was highly-recruited across the nation, reportedly receiving over 25 scholarship offers but ultimately decided to stay home, committing to play college football for the Utah Utes.
Per ESPN, here's a tremendous stat regarding Fano's performance in 2025 that should have Browns fans overjoyed with what's to come:
"Fano allowed a pressure rate of 1.1% last season, which ranked third among qualifying tackles in 2025. Browns' left tackles allowed a league-worst 16.2% pressure rate in 2025."
The Browns also drafted wide receiver KC Concepcion in the first round with the 24th overall pick.
The impressive wideout from Texas A&M had been drawing heavy interest from several NFL teams, including great intrigue from Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers.
