Caitlin Clark Posts Heartfelt Photo On Her Anniversary With Connor McCaffery
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark celebrated a heartwarming milestone on Friday night.
When it comes to her career on the hardwood, Clark has excelled at every level. The NCAA's all-time leading scorer is averaging 18.5 points, 8.5 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game during her WNBA career. She'll most likely have another All-Star season as long as she stays healthy.
As for her personal life, Clark has been dating Connor McCaffery since 2023. The former Iowa guard recently announced that he was leaving Butler's coaching staff. It's unclear what's next for him, but he's got plenty of reasons to celebrate.
Believe it or not, Clark and McCaffery celebrated their three-year anniversary this Friday.
Clark celebrated their anniversary by posting a photo on Instagram along with this kind message: "three years with my fav you're the bestttt." She has already received over 216,000 likes and 1,300 comments.
"Looking great together," WNBA legend Lisa Leslie commented.
"The cutest," Fever teammate Lexie Hull wrote.
"Cutiessss," former Iowa guard Gabbie Marshall said.
"Best couple in America," an Iowa fan declared.
Caitlin is back in action.
The Fever will begin their preseason this Saturday afternoon against the New York Liberty. They've already ruled out Aliyah Boston, Tyasha Harris, Lexie Hull and Damiris Dantas.
Clark isn't listed on Indiana's injury report, so fans should expect to see her in action. She might not be the primary ball handler every second that she's on the court though.
"It is exhausting, bringing the ball up 94 feet versus pressure every single time," Clark told reporters earlier this week. "So, we certainly need to find somebody that can handle the ball a little bit and give me a little bit of a break."
The Fever-Liberty game will tip off at 3 p.m. ET. As for the regular season, Indiana will get started on May 9 against the Dallas Wings.
