ESPN Host Malika Andrews Shares Red Swimsuit Photo
ESPN host Malika Andrews is going viral for a variety of reasons this NBA postseason.
Andrews has been with ESPN since October 2018, but it wasn't until 2020 that she became a household name in the NBA community. Not only did she become one of the youngest sideline reporters ever assigned to a Conference Finals telecast, she was named the full-time host of "NBA Today."
In 2022, Andrews won a Sports Emmy Award for Outstanding Personality due to her work on "NBA Today." The University of Portland graduate also has the NABJ Michael J. Feeney Emerging Journalist of the Year Award in her trophy case.
Andrews took a brief break from covering the NBA playoffs to celebrate Earth Day. She posted a few photos on Instagram that caught everyone's attention.
"Our gorgeous spaceship called Earth," she wrote on Instagram. "We're in the thick of the NBA Playoffs, but looking back at some of my favorite places I've been lucky enough to visit. Celebrating Earth Day today and every day."
Malika Andrews is locked in at ESPN for the foreseeable future.
Prior to the start of the 2025-26 NBA season, ESPN signed Andrews to a multi-year extension.
There were rumors about other networks, such as Amazon Prime Video and NBC, pursuing Andrews last year. Front Office Sports also mentioned her as a candidate for "Good Morning America" on ABC.
"Several sports media insiders have independently told FOS that Andrews could eventually follow the Robin Roberts model and flourish on a daytime news and entertainment program within the Disney empire, such as ABC's Good Morning America," Michael McCarthy and Ryan Glasspiegel wrote.
At the end of the day, Andrews decided to continue her role as the lead host of "NBA Today."
