Three NXT Stars Called Up to WWE Main Roster on Raw After WrestleMania
WrestleMania 42 is over, Roman Reigns closed the WWE season as the new world champion, and instead of an offseason, a new campaign for the pro wrestlers began on Netflix‘s “Monday Night Raw” less than 24 hours later.
And with all good season premieres, new characters must be introduced, and we saw three NXT superstars get their name called to move up to the main roster.
The first, former NXT champion Ethan Page, butted heads with longtime rival Je’Von Evans and positioned himself immediately in the WWE Intercontinental Championship picture.

On the women’s side, Liv Morgan came out alongside the rest of her Judgment Day stable to celebrate winning the women’s world title on Saturday at WrestleMania.
Before she could finish her promo, however, NXT’s Sol Ruca interrupted her, the SoCal surfer girl making her presence known on Monday nights. She challenged Morgan to a match, and Ruca proved why she’s seen by many pundits as the next face of the women’s division, showcasing her otherworldly athleticism.
Although Ruca lost due to interference from her former best friend, Zaria, she will be moving forward with the red brand. She faces Zaria in a last woman standing match on NXT television on Tuesday, which seems set up as her goodbye match from the developmental promotion.
Finally, it was announced that Joe Hendry would be coming to “Raw” to debut with an in-ring concert next week.
While these were the trio called up tonight, it’s expected that even more names might be called up on “Friday Night SmackDown,” including the likes of Ricky Saints and Jacy Jayne.
