Jimmy Garoppolo is considering retirement.
The veteran NFL quarterback is only 34 years old. However, Jimmy G. has made more than $150 million during his career. He's considering hanging up his cleats ahead of the 2026 season.
"Jimmy Garoppolo, considered (the Rams') top option as backup QB, is considering retirement, sources say. Jimmy G, who has started 64 games during a 12-year career, has made over $156M in all. He is 34 and is mulling a final decision," NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported.
Garoppolo could be joining a growing list of NFL quarterbacks who retired earlier than many expected them to.
