WWE WrestleMania 42 Card Change: Street Fight Added to Major Match Tonight
WWE has made a late change to the WrestleMania 42 Sunday card.
During the WrestleMania Countdown show, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that the scheduled match between Dominik Mysterio and "The Demon" Finn Bálor will now be contested as a Street Fight.
The change came after Mysterio, the current AAA Mega Champion, confronted Pearce about being booked against Bálor's Demon persona, arguing that it was not what he originally agreed to. Pearce acknowledged the complaint before clarifying the situation: Mysterio will still face "The Demon"-but under Street Fight rules, adding a no-disqualification element to the bout.
The match will take place tonight at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as part of WrestleMania Sunday, which begins at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN Unlimited.
