WWE 2K26 Season 2: Fastest Way to Progress Through Tier 1–40 in Ringside Pass

A major update dropped today for WWE 2K26, pairing a sizable patch with the launch of Season 2. And like every new season, the reset brings a fresh grind. The Ringside Pass is loaded with rewards again, and naturally, players are already looking for the fastest way to clear Tier 1 through Tier 40 without wasting time.

That's where Witty Witterson comes in. In a recent upload on YouTube, the creator shared a streamlined method that cuts down the grind significantly. It's not quite as fast as Season 1, but it's still one of the most efficient routes available-and it's repeatable with minimal effort. This follows earlier Season 1 grinding methods that players used to quickly clear tiers at launch.

Start With Slider Adjustments

Before jumping into matches, go into the settings and lower the AI sliders. This makes opponents far easier to control and speeds up finishes. Skipping this step slows everything down, so it's worth setting up properly before you begin.

If you're unsure about the exact slider setup, it's worth checking out Witty Witterson's full breakdown on YouTube, where the settings are shown step-by-step and can be copied directly.

The Elimination Chamber Method

Head into Play Now and select an Elimination Chamber match. Choose Roman Reigns as the first entrant, turn entrances off, and fill the rest of the match with random opponents.

Once the match starts, the goal is simple-force quick submissions.

To trigger a submission:

  • Damage the opponent's head or limbs first
  • Xbox: Hold RT + press B
  • PS5: Hold R2 + press Circle
  • Control the submission meter to secure the tap-out

From there, it becomes a loop. Walk up, lock in the submission, and force a tap-out before the next opponent enters. Repeat the process until the match ends.

Each run takes about a minute and rewards roughly 135 RXP. Instead of exiting, hit rematch immediately and keep cycling through matches to maximize efficiency.

Boosts Speed Everything Up

Progression time depends heavily on boosts. Without any boosts, the Tier 1–40 grind is estimated at around five hours. With stacked RXP boosts-especially the 50% timed boosts-you can cut that down significantly.

Players who carried over tier boosts from Season 1 have it even easier, with some reaching Tier 40 in as little as two to three hours.

Final Take

After testing this method firsthand, it holds up. The loop is consistent, the timing checks out, and the RXP gains stack exactly as expected. The biggest difference-maker is easily the slider setup-once those are adjusted, matches become far more controllable and the grind speeds up noticeably.

Season 2 may require a bit more time than the first run, but this approach keeps things efficient and repeatable. With the latest patch improving overall flow and a full slate of rewards on the line, WWE 2K26 is settling into a more reliable rhythm.
