Alabama Football Hit With Injury Concern as WR Leaves Practice on Cart

The Alabama Crimson Tide took the field for a modified version of A-Day practice on Saturday.

Unfortunately for Kalen DeBoer’s squad, this spring practice came with a concerning injury for transfer wide receiver Noah Rogers - a key offensive weapon for the Crimson Tide heading into the 2026 college football season.

Rogers suffered an injury after an incomplete pass in the end zone. The WR was helped off the field, unable to put weight on his left foot. He was ultimately carted off the field after medical personnel put a brace on his left leg.

DeBoer provided an update on Rogers after the spring practice scrimmage.

"We'll have to get evaluated here," DeBoer said. "Unfortunate with him getting dinged up. So, we'll kind of see what that looks like. He'll be able to get the MRIs and all that kind of stuff. We'll see what happens. We'll have more information here as we go through the spring and summer."

Rogers began his college football career as a four-star recruit for Ohio State. After appearing in just two games and recording no stats in his first season with the Buckeyes, the North Carolina native transferred to NC State for the next two years of his collegiate career.

Through 13 games with the Wolfpack in 2025, Rogers reeled in 33 catches for 441 yards and two touchdowns.

DeBoer recognized Rogers as a “consistent” player for the Alabama offense in spring practice.

"Noah's been consistent, had a couple nice catches, made some big plays there when we needed to," DeBoer said. "Even sometimes short ones where we got to move the chains. He'd probably be the one that stood out the most."
