The 2023 Orange Bowl Basketball Classic field is set. Here are the Florida teams playing

Three in-state college basketball teams headline this year’s AutoNation Orange Bowl Basketball Classic.

The Florida Gators, Florida State Seminoles, USF Bulls and Richmond Spiders will compete in the 29th edition of the event.

UF is scheduled to play Richmond, with FSU playing USF on Saturday, Dec. 29 at the FLA Live Arena in Broward County, a news release said.

Game times will be determined at a later date.

“We are very excited to welcome four talented basketball programs and their fans to South Florida,” Orange Bowl Committee President and Chair Dr. Yvonne Johnson said in a news release. “Thanks to our partners AutoNation and FLA Live Arena for what is set to be a great day of collegiate basketball and family fun.”
