Watch Furman’s game-winning shot to upset Virginia in the first round of March Madness

And the first bracket buster of March Madness didn’t take long to happen.

The 13 seed Furman Paladins dropped a three-pointer near the end of regulation to upset No. 4 seeded Virginia in an NCAA Men’s Basketbal Tournament South Region first round game.

With time winding down, Virginia’s Kihei Clark threw an errant pass that led to Furman’s J.P. Pegues scoring a three-pointer with 2.4 seconds left to propel Furman past the Cavaliers, 68-67, on Thursday.

Following the shot, the Cavs had one last chance, but their potential buzzer-beater missed.
