University of Florida athletic director Scott Stricklin last week tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus that has caused a global pandemic, he said during a teleconference held Tuesday, according to an Orlando Sentinel report.

Stricklin told media on the call that he had mild symptoms, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

The Gators athletic director also said there were three positive tests out of 188 for the Gators football program.

Other things Stricklin mentioned on the call were:

Florida’s home games will see a capacity of 25,000 fans this football season, and likely will only allow 15,000-20,000 for games in the Swamp.

The annual rivalry game with Georgia held in Jacksonville is still scheduled and no discussion to move the game has been made as of yet, Stricklin said.
