Dwyane Wade has officially made it.

OK, that’s bit in jest as he already had a legendary basketball career that should see him in the Hall of Fame down the road.

But D-Wade’s post-NBA career took flight Saturday during the NBA All-Star weekend. Specifically, during the Slam Dunk Contest.

Why?

Because Wade is now a meme. He’s been a meme before, but the look he gave during the Slam Dunk Contest is the latest.

Leave it social media to create it so quickly:

The former Miami Heat star even used the meme on his Instagram to respond to critics suggesting a conspiracy theory for the Heat’s Derrick Jones Jr. winning the slam dunk contest over Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon.

Jones Jr. and Gordon traded perfect scores of 50 in the final round, which led to a dunk-off where the judges gave Jones Jr. a 48 for a windmill from just inside the free throw line. Gordon leaped over former UCF star Tacko Fall, who stands at 7-foot-5, for his final dunk.

The judges gave Gordon a 47 to a shocking reaction from the crowd in Chicago. Gordon later told reporters he was done with the dunk contest, which came four years after another memorable close loss, where Zach LaVine narrowly won.
