University School boys’ soccer team stays undefeated with win over Mourning
Sebastian “Nino” Smith, Sebastian Baredes, Joel Castellanos and Diego Garcia each scored a goal as host University School shutout Alonzo Mourning 4-0 on Friday as the Sharks remained unbeaten and untied this season moving to 13-0.
Ethan Subachan pitched in with two assists, and goalkeeper Simon Mertnoff recorded his ninth shutout of the season.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
▪ Florida Christian 3, Southwest 0: Rachel Burke scored the opening goal and assisted the second as the Patriots improved to 8-5-1. Esther Jones scored the second goal and Victoria Toledo added the third off an assist from Ayleen Amador. Goalkeeper Abby Nunez recorded the shutout, her seventh of the season.

Jennie Scott contributred with 7 points, 7 assists and 6 steals while Sema’J Terry pitched in with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
