Free agent wide receiver Antonio Brown’s new song is entitled ‘Bad Decisions’

Grammy Award-winner Antonio Brown.

That should be the first and last time those words were written.

After weeks of teasing a collaboration with Sean Kingston, Brown released a snippet of the single Sunday night on his Instagram. The song, entitled “Bad Decisions,” is cringe-worthy to say the least.

“Baby I’m a player, I’m a pro though, having one girl that’s a no-no,” rapped Brown.

While Brown’s bars left much to be desired, the entire situation just didn’t make sense. Making a track called “Bad Decisions” and keeping in the vault was one thing. Actually dropping it, while battling rape accusations, was another.

The irony was just too obvious. Plus, he was just asking for trouble.

Although the song probably (or, better yet, hopefully in light of AB’s recent track record) doesn’t touch on the accusations, the fact that he would even risk it being interpreted that way showed how lightly he viewed his legal situation.

Passing this off as a “stick to football” moment would be too easy. Stick to clearing his name might be more accurate (also, probably lay off the Twitter tirades).

Unfortunately, this wasn’t Brown’s first foray into music. For some reason, there exists a remix of The Weeknd’s “I Can’t Feel My Face” with Brown listing the reasons he’s an elite receiver. No, seriously, it’s on his Instagram.

The song opens with “You know that I can catch the ball/ and you know that I can run/ I can also jump into the air because I don’t weigh a ton.”

In the words of Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen, “This ain’t it.”
