Atlético Madrid Is Coming to Wynwood Next Week — Here’s What to Know
One of European soccer’s biggest clubs is coming to Miami. Atlético de Madrid will bring Casa Atleti to Wynwood Walls on March 20 and 21, transforming the iconic open-air art destination into a two-day fan experience as part of the club’s new Red & White On Tour initiative — a platform specifically designed to connect the club with its international fanbase throughout the season, independent of where the first team is competing.
The activation will feature a museum of historic club memorabilia, an official Atlético store and a range of live programming across both days. Sunday afternoon will center on a watch party for the Madrid derby — one of Spanish soccer’s most anticipated fixtures — with a live ESPN broadcast connection. Saturday evening, celebrated music collective Perro Negro will host a public party at the venue, open to all.
For Red & White members — Atlético’s international fan membership — the weekend includes exclusive access to meet and greet sessions with club legends. But the philosophy behind the whole event is one the club has been consistent about: soccer is best experienced together, and this weekend is designed to prove it.
Wynwood was a considered choice. The neighborhood’s central location, natural foot traffic and deep roots in street art and mural culture made it the right backdrop for what Atlético is trying to build here — an activation that genuinely reflects the community it’s visiting. Live mural creation and spray paint activations running across both days reinforce that commitment directly.
It follows the blueprint the club established in Los Angeles, where partnerships with Saturday’s Football and Venice Beach FC helped root Casa Atleti in the city’s own soccer culture rather than simply arriving in it. Miami is the next step in what the club intends to be a yearly global platform, visiting priority markets around the world on an ongoing basis.
