Contributors to Miami Herald Impact Journalism Fund help expand public service work
The nonprofit Miami Herald Impact Journalism Fund at the Miami Foundation, in partnership with Journalism Funding Partners, accepts tax-deductible donations to expand local journalism by the Miami Herald / el Nuevo Herald. Donations have enabled us to increase reporting on and host community events about migration, Haiti and disinformation. Thanks to community donations, we have added two investigative fellowships, two climate reporting positions, a faith reporter and an arts reporter.
Currently we are 75% to our goal to add a two-year journalism initiative focused on South Florida’s economic mobility challenges and solutions.
