Pedestrian accidents
The number of car-pedestrian accidents in South Florida seems extremely high. However, I have never lived in an area with so many jay-walking pedestrians.
Adults and children cross anywhere but a crosswalk, weaving in and out of traffic, oblivious to the traffic signals, putting drivers and their passengers at risk.
Please include the important information of where a pedestrian was hit in news reports so the public is aware of the danger of jay-walking.
