Grateful to Miami
Re the Feb. 2 article Miami’s ‘painful time’ revisited: As historians journey back to Miami’s ugly past, let’s not forget that it was not uncommon during the early 1960s to find signs for rental apartments that would openly state: No children, no dogs, no Cubans.
Still, I’m very grateful to call Miami home for the last 53 years.
