Pakistan lawyers

The genius of Shakespeare is proven again. In his play, “Henry VI,” Dick the Butcher, who was seeking to overthrow the existing government by replacing the king, states “The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers.”

Many people use this statement to support their criticism of lawyers.

Shakespeare, however, actually meant it as a compliment. So it wasn’t surprising to read in the Aug. 10 Miami Herald that Pakistani militants targeted and killed 70 people, most of whom were lawyers who were trying to maintain justice and a civil society in Pakistan.
