Beach healthcare

Re the Sept. 29 letter South Beach care: There’s no lack of excellent healthcare in the South Beach that I know.

For more than 30 years, this excellence has been generously dispensed at the Miami Beach Community Health Center at 710 Alton Road, right across the street from the proposed Baptist Health center. How could he have missed it?

I have received excellent, life-saving care from this wonderful place since my arrival in South Beach in 1994.

Now, no longer able to afford the rent in Miami Beach, I travel south to 710 Alton to receive the care that I depend on.
