Once bitten ...

Congress said No to the Zika funding proposed by President Obama before it adjourned for the summer, showing the American public once again that the lawmakers only care about what impacts them. The horrible consequences that an unborn child will face if their mother is bitten doesn’t matter.

But maybe the members of Congress who voted No will have a member of their family affected by the virus. Then, and only then, will they get over their political bias and take a stand for life.
